Figuring out how to celebrate the birthday of your significant other for the first time is a daunting task for most any couple.
So imagine if you were dating Jennifer Lopez.
Still, Casper Smart did his best to impress his leading lady tonight - blindfolding the singer and leading her to a surprise party on a luxury yacht for her 43rd birthday extravaganza.

Only Jennifer wasn't expecting - or at least, wasn't supposed to be expecting - the dancer had booked a boat for the occasion.
Stepping out of their hotel, the singer looked stunning in a long sleeve Tom Ford zipper dress in a striking shade of orange.
The detail, which revealed her toned back, brightened Jennifer's radiant complexion.

Casper, in a burgundy blazer and black pants, covered the singer's face with a colourful scarf as he led her out to the harbour in uptown Manhattan.
And while Jennifer looked somewhat in awe, her face seemed to hint she may have had an inkling as to the plans her toy-boy had been making.

on board, with a card placed in front reading: 'Happy Birthday BEAR!'
Nevertheless, Jennifer seemed jubilant as she joined friends on the ship, adorned with silver and black balloons.

Casper frankly revealed that there were no romantic sparks between the two of them initially.
When asked if it was love at first sight when the pair met, Casper said: 'I don't think it was, for either of us. It was just very natural, you know, natural how it happened.
'There was nothing before, no flirting, no nothing.'
The pair then started dating last autumn just a few months after her seven-year marriage to Marc Anthony ended in July 2011.
