Kim Kardashian transforms into ethereal mermaid for Halloween party with Kanye

Kim Kardashian managed to find a Halloween costume to perfectly accentuate her famous hourglass figure as she celebrated the holiday with her beau Kanye West.

The reality star decided to go dressed as a mermaid, squeezing her curves into a green fishtail skirt and a shell bra.

Kim also sported a blonde wig to complete her elaborate look for the evening as she hit a Midori party in New York on Saturday.

She was clearly delighted with her costume and eagerly shared photos with her fans via her Twitter and Instagram pages, including one of her with her 'captain' Kanye, who wore a naval outfit.

Since dating Kanye, Kim seems to have developed quite the penchant for leather.

And she overdid it earlier in the day on a solo outing when she teamed a knee-length red skirt with thigh high black boots, both made from her favourite fabric.

The result left the petite brunette drowning in leather from her nipped in waist down, and she even decided to complete her racy look with an oversized crocodile skin handbag.

Thankfully, Kim opted against a leather top and instead chose a beige blouse with a low cut to display her ample cleavage.

The most famous Kardashian, who recently turned 32, was spotted in the Big Apple while on a break from filming her Kourtney and Kim Take Miami series.

Kim looked bubbly as she entered a waiting limousine, donning large designer sunglasses to avoid camera flashes.

Meanwhile, rapper Kanye was spotted in another part of town getting mobbed by fans before meeting up with his squeeze later in the evening.

Dressed in Timberland boots, jeans and a dinner jacket, Kanye was seen heading to the Mercer Hotel in SoHo.

Kanye offers some interesting lyrics in his new track White Dress for the RZA's soundtrack to his directorial debut, The Man With the Iron Fists.

A minute-long snippet of the track, due out October 23, was posted online on Thursday and the hip-hop star is heard making matrimonial come-ons to his 'baby girl.'

'You the type of girl that probably deserve a new last name/ But they never let us do our thing,' the 35-year-old is heard rapping.

He adds: 'Your high heels clicking/Your lip gloss glistening/Your hips start switching.'

It was rumoured that Kanye was set to propose to Kim on her 32nd birthday. And although the star hasn't been seen sporting a ring, she gushed that she enjoyed the 'most incredible romantic trip ever' to Italy with her beau.

Kim recently told Tatler magazine that if she ties the knot again, it will be much more low key than her over-the-top nuptials to Kris Humphries.

'It had always been my dream to have a big wedding, and when people said that I'd made it over the top for the show, that was just me: I am over the top,' Kardashian admitted.
