9 1/2 Weeks reunion! Mickey Rourke and Kim Basinger spotted on set of their new film (but look who's aged better...)

They set the screen on fire in 1986 with their steamy S&M love scenes in 9 1/2 Weeks.

And 26 years later, Mickey Rourke and Kim Basinger both reported to the Los Angeles set of their new political film Black November last Sunday.

Despite age taking its natural toll, the 58-year-old blonde looked flawless (and has certainly aged better than Rourke) in her purple dress shirt and grey trousers, as she shaded herself with a cheetah-print umbrella.

Later, the Oscar-winning actress was seen trying on the same silk shirt in green as she strolled through the set in her motorcycle boots.

Meanwhile, 59-year-old Rourke looked in good spirits as took photos with fans in his grey power suit and oxblood dress shoes.

Kim and Mickey first reunited onscreen two years ago for the Bret Easton Ellis crime-drama The Informers, but they did not even meet until the 2009 red carpet premiere.
It is still unclear whether the pair will actually share scenes in Black November.

The cult hit, which did very well on video, followed Mickey's character as he slowly dragged Kim into a destructive downward spiral of sexual exploitation and dominance.

There was a critically-panned sequel in 1997, which saw Mickey return, but not Kim.

It's certainly been a good year for Rourke, whose stunning comeback in The Wrestler led his career resurgence and no less than six film projects in the works.

Meanwhile Kim just wrapped a role in the Seattle-set indie One Square Mile as the mother of a troubled teen who finds a reluctant mentor in a track coach neighbor (Richard Jenkins).
