A mother murdered her two-year-old son, decapitated him and stored his head in the freezer before stabbing herself to death.
Chevonne Thomas, 33, and her son Zahree Thomas, died in a murder suicide at their home in Camden, New Jersey, in the early hours of this morning.
Philadelphia police received a call around 12.30am from a woman about a domestic dispute.
She at first she told the 911 dispatcher that her boyfriend had done something to her child before admitting, 'I did it'

Thomas is believed to have had a history of mental problems. According to Fox, she barricaded herself inside the home after arguing with a man believed to be her boyfriend.
When police arrived, they found the boy's headless body on the first floor.
Thomas was on a second-floor bedroom and police tried to talk her into surrendering. But she slashed her own throat and died before police could reach her.
They found the child's head in the freezer later.
