George Clooney denies he has split from girlfriend of just over one year Stacy Keibler

It was claimed today that George Clooney had split from his girlfriend of just over one year, Stacy Keibler.
But the actor's rep has now denied a story run by British newspaper The Sun, which alleged that the Hollywood star had ended his romance with the stunning former WWE wrestler.
'A story published by a London tabloid, The Sun, concerning George Clooney and Stacy Keibler is not true. Total fabrication designed to sell newspapers,' the actor's PR representative Stan Rosenfield told the Mail Online.

In the story, The Sun claimed that the pair had ended their romance and were set to release a statement any day now regarding the split.
They alleged that Stacy, 32, had told friends that her relationship with the 51-year-old actor was over due to his unwillingness to commit.
According to the publication, George had apparently told the stunning WWE wrestler that he wanted to be on his own again.
'She said George wants to be on his own again and has no intention of getting married,' a source was alleged to have told The Sun.

'Stacy hoped they would be together long-term. It was a big breakthrough to spend time with his parents. But over the last few weeks George has pulled away from her.'
The new report came as the couple recently returned from Lake Como Villa in Italy, where George often travels to with girlfriends.
The actor first took Stacy there in June, and the pair have barely left the idyllic spot ever since.

And on the 25th of July, George and Stacy were spotted having lunch with both his parents and her own parents, Patricia and Gary.
The couple first started dating in August 2011, a month after he split from his long-term girlfriend, Italian model and actress Elisabetta Canalis,

According to U.S. reports at the time, the Ocean's Thirteen actor had been quietly dating the statuesque blonde for some time, after having known her for several years.
One insider told American magazine Us Weekly at the time: 'It's more than just a fling. They're basically exclusive at this point. They like each other's sense of humour.
'Obviously they're both physically attracted to one another.'
Clooney split from Canalis in July 2011 after she had dropped hints in interviews that she was keen to marry and have children.

Talia currently plays Mona Sterling on hit U.S. show Mad Men, playing the ex-wife of her real-life husband John Slattery, who plays ad man Roger Sterling. The couple have been married since 1998 and have one child together.
In an interview in early 2011 with Piers Morgan, George said he had no plans to marry again.
He said: 'I hate to blow your whole news story, but I was married,' George said in the interview on CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight.
