Russell Simmons puts his restored New York penthouse back on the market for $11million
Hip hop mogul Russell Simmons has put his high-priced New York apartment back on the market.The penthouse, which now on sale for $11million, was once the home that Russell shared with his ex-wife Kimora Lee Simmons.
His Lady Liberty penthouse has been on the Manhattan real estate market for quite some time and was nearly ruined following the Twin Towers falling.

The founder of Def Jam Recordings renovated the property but failed to secure a buyer despite slashing the price of the sky-rise apartment in 2005.
But now Russell has put the his abode back on the market with its original price tag of $11million and an incentive of a one percent flip tax payable by the buyer.
With 7,175 square feet of interior space, the stunning home has rooftop views of the Manhattan skyline.

The 54-year-old's home is laid out with an enormous kitchen which has a breakfast area.
At almost 3,500 square feet of exterior space comes complete with four bedrooms, four and a half bathroom and a staff room which has a full bathroom and a library.

Russell and his then wife Kimora had filmed their segment for the popular show in which celebrities take cameras on a tour of their home just before the terrorist attacks on the city.
The former power couple agreed to let the network show their home as long as they also screened footage of the destroyed Twin Towers.

And the show ended with a message that read: 'Due to the events of 9/11, Russell and Kimora's building sustained massive structural damage. Fortunately, they were safe from harm and have since moved to a new home.
'Our deepest condolences go out to those that were not as fortunate.'
