Lady Gaga gets new 'R†O' tattoo on her neck to thank her 'little monsters round the world'

Lady Gaga's latest piece of body art is yet another nod to her mammoth army of 'little monster' fans.
The Born This Way singer got inked again on Saturday night in Brazil, then proudly posted the results on Twitter.
This isn't Gaga's first art piece on her neck and scalp region...just a few months ago she shaved parts of her hair off to get a cherub tattooed onto her skull.

And it seems the flamboyant entertainer just can't get enough.
The latest addition are the letters 'R†O'  - possibly a nod to Rio de Janeiro, the city she was performing in that night.
Each of Gaga's many tattoos is said to have a deeply personal meaning to her and this one is no different, according to her website and Twitter page.

Body Art: Gaga has dedicated her new tattoo to her fans and posted a message on her website thanking all of her little monsters for their inspiration. She also revealed the font was created by three particular fans

The Telephone singer wrote: 'R†O. Monsters, all over the world you continue to inspire me everyday, your like an endless ocean of possibilities.'
The Mother Monster, who has since moved on to Sao Paulo for a Sunday night concert, added: 'The font was derived out of the signatures of three fans, all from different neighborhoods and ages.
'Represents how music brings us 2gether.'

Gaga was spotted leaving the Rio tattoo parlour escorted by body guards and was wearing a pretty floral top and jeans.
Though her get-up was tamer than usual she did sport a pair of frighteningly high heeled boots and had her brown hair in a pretty, but unusual up-do.
She is currently in Brazil doing her Monster Ball tour and Tweeted before Saturday night's performance: 'Stadium show tonight in RIO. GALERA ARE YOU READY!?!?!?!?! Im so excited! i can't wait to show you all my love through the music!!'

Philosopher: The writing on Gaga's upper left arm is a quote by Austrian poet Rilke who is said to be her favourite philosopher. The quote is in German and roughly translates into a line about dying if unable to express yourself

The 35,000 seater show must have been a roaring success because the native New Yorker later Tweeted: 'Tonight, the love we made set Rio in Flames. I'll never forget that show Brazil.
'You ARE the City of Go.'
The Monster Ball heads to Argentina on November 16.
