Pregnant Shakira enjoys a date night with boyfriend Gerard Piqué as they eagerly await the arrival of their first child

They are about to enter the world of parenthood, so it's no wonder Shakira and fiance Gerard Piqué  like to make the most of her alone time while they still can.
The Colombian singer and her Spanish football boyfriend were spotted returning from a romantic date night in Barcelona on Wednesday night.
And Gerard seemed every inch the doting husband-to-be as he protectively led his pregnant girlfriend by the hand following a trip to the cinema.

The loved-up couple seemed smitten as they walked hand-in-hand through the parking garage.
Shakira looked effortlessly chic in a white T-shirt and black jeans ensemble, and still managed to walk around in high heels despite being six months pregnant.
Meanwhile her football star love was a little more dress down and looked comfortable and warm in big grey sweater and sneakers.
The Spanish star opened up in an interview with Catalan radio station RAC1 earlier this week, where he revealed how the pregnancy has affected his stunning partner.

'Shakira is doing great, she’s six months along. She’s still doing everything and I don’t stop her from doing anything. She even dances! But let her dance, that way she doesn’t think so much,' he joked.
He also revealed the Colombian super star is not planning on slowing down work wise and will release a new album after the baby's birth early 2013.
'The album will be released after the baby is born because she’d need to go on tour and she can’t do that now,' FC Barcelona’s centre-back said. 'And it’s very likely that there will be a song in Catalan, it could even be ‘Boig per tu’ (‘Crazy for you’).'

But when it comes to naming their first born son, it seems the couple have yet to decide.
'Concerning the name, we just haven’t been able to decide,' Gerard said.
'There are ridiculous names, like Ulisito, that came out of the press’ need to report nonsense. There was also Biel, which we like, but I don’t think it will be that one either, or Gerard. We’ll see.'

Meanwhile, the blonde beauty herself tweeted a video message to her 18.7 million followers.
'Thanks for all the supportive and affectionate messages you've been sending to me over these past couple of weeks,' she said.
'I'm very excited to see you all again soon and for you to hear my new music. I'm sure 2013 is going to be a great year for all of us.'
